Standard sustainability consultants work to a limited scope of services focusing on BREEAM certification, planning statements and Part L compliance.
We offer those skill sets as well….but we aim to offer a much broader and more meaningful set of services, working with the design team to maximize and achieve best-value outcomes.
We can work alongside your existing sustainability consultants in a more flexible way that fits the project goals, to achieve the “biggest wins” for the project, whether this is in finding the ideal net zero carbon strategy, simply reducing operational energy use, comparing the embodied carbon of different construction methods, or improving the biodiversity and flood control capacity of the site. Each project is unique and deserves a unique sustainability strategy.
We have 35 years of experience as architects and energy managers, on a very wide range of projects, from existing factories, new build offices and homes, hospitals, multi-occupancy housing, schools and more. We’ve worked with some of the world’s most demanding clients including the United Nations and Nike. We understand the procurement process and its challenges all too well and we pride ourselves on respecting the priorities of the project authors whilst extending their capacity with our deep knowledge and use of sophisticated tools.
